Happy Father's Day
A father carries pictures where his money used to be. ~Author Unknown
My brother and I hanging with our Dad.
My favorite "Space Cadet" PJ's and a book my Dad could not read on his own.
'74, our groovy flat.
Even now 17 years later, I still miss you. Thanks for being the best Dad I could wish for, you never quit.
Love always,
J

Wow. I recall your mother mentioning how your brother and I shared a suite with your mother and mine. But for the life of me I can't recall your father beardless.
Thanks for posting the pix

Hehe, I agree - I only remember him with a beard.
I like the early photos seeing as we have the same hairline. sigh.
It is rather amusing to see him with "more" hair in that bottom shot.
Another memory I have of your father, Boy's Brigade, circa my grade 3 year. It was the opening night of "Stockades" and our little group was being "Rangered" by your dad. He was obliged to fill out some official CSB forms and asked us each in turn what our hobbies and interests were. The boys before me were coming up with, "I like to go hunting with my dad"; "I go driving in the car with my dad"; "My dad lets me fix the car" -- all these fabulously macho "hobbies"! I was in a panic, because I couldn't just come out with the truth: "I live in my head and draw comic books when I'm supposed to be doing my homework!"
He finally got to me and I blurted, "I like to play with Big Jim dolls!"
He looked at me for a minute, then said, "You're Joshing."
Those are some awesome pics! Seeing images like that reminds me once again how important our job really is. It's not about pictures......it's about the memories that those pictures represent.
