Jaymi and Jared - the engagement
We shot an engagement session with Jaymi and Jared the other day. It's a great way to "practice" for your big day. You get an understanding of how to work with each other and how the shoot might unfold.
It's aways a blast to bring your hobbies into your photos. Can you guess Jared's? Sweet truck. Made for some great photo ops.
BTW, my good buddy Trev calls them (e)sessions. Nice - just wish I would have thought of it first. Oh well, next time.

Nice shots. You can call them (e)sessions too. I won't get bad, as long as you buy me a Starbucks coffee ;-)
I guess I owe you a Starbucks, which is fine - I got to come into the city soon anyway.
Thanks
Jeremy,
Thanks so much for your time and patience doing our engagement pictures. Like you said on your blog, it was a really good sort of trial run for us so we know what to expect on the big day... Jared and I really love the picture where you did some kind or effect so it feels like your being sucked into the picture. Jared especially likes the shots of his truck, and that you can't tell that it was dirty. We all just wanted to say thanks! And Abby wants to apologize for being so noisy...
Thanks again SO much!
-Jaymi
You guys are very welcome. It was fun and we got some pretty cool photos.
Hey, I'm Jaymi's lil' sister, Janessa. I was looking around your site at the pics and stuff. I just figured I'd complement your pictures. The jumping one always makes me think of High School Musical. I love how you used the shadows and lighting, and whatever crazy awesome settings you have on your camera. Great pictures!

Thank you for the kind comments Janessa, and for stopping by.
That's some of the cool looks you can have by using a professional. Sounds kinda trite, but it does look different than normal photographs.
:)
hey i'm Jared's big sis Tess. and I think these are awesome pictures. and can hardly wait to see what the wedding photos will look like. you have a great talent for finding the best angle.
Tess
Hi Tess, thanks! We appreciate you stopping by. BTW great name! One of my good friends named her little girl Tess, and I've liked it ever since.
