Quiet Light on Buildings

I was hired to photograph a company here in town this past weekend. So I decided to shoot in the early morning to get some of that quiet light I tend to talk about. It works for any subject and makes the mundane just a little bit better.


I got there just before the sun was up (top photo) and then took my last photos as the sun came over the horizon. This bright light lasted for about 9 minutes, after which the sun slipped behind the clouds and remained there for the rest of the day. By the time I packed my car it was another dreary winter day.
