Burnt Trees

A number of weeks ago I headed out to Sandilands with 8 people from the Steinbach Arts Photo Club. We hiked up the trail to where they had that forest fire back in mid summer. Man, that was interesting to see all the burnt trees, charred black with the new green under growth so lush.

I haven't been out in nature photographing for a long time, too long. It was great to get out in the fresh air, away from the computer and just spend some quiet time out in the wilderness. I think I need to do this more often.
