Bride's Open House

I will be at the Holiday Inn Airport West (2520 Portage Ave.) this Sunday Jan. 31 from 12:00 - 3:00 for their annual Brides' Open House. Please stop by and say hello! They always have great food to sample, and it might be the place to get last minute ideas for your wedding plans.

Great Clients - even if they're not mine

One of the things that warms my heart most is when we can provide our clients with an experience and product that blows them away, whether they never thought they could look so fantastic and sexy on their wedding day or they come back after their day and say, "you were the best part of the day, by far the most enjoyable time".

Last week I helped Trevor shoot a behind the scenes video of Kat and Chris's "save the day" video, just so you all could see how it works. Today I received this wonderful email from Kat.

Hi Jeremy!

I just wanted to send you a quick email to thank you so much for coming out to our shoot last week. I just saw the finished products and I am completely blown away!!!! You guys both rocked!!! It was great to meet you and having your input on our day :) I am still so ecstatic about everything! Oh, and I loved the "hang on to your hats comment!" ... the behind the scenes video actually had me in tears (good tears of course!!!)

Kat and Chris, you guys are a stand up couple. Thank you for even thinking of me when I was just in the background shooting footage. It really warmed my heart to open this email. Even if I still have to live down "hang on to your hats".

Save the Date Video - Behind the scenes.

On Tuesday, Trevor came out to the Steinbach area to shoot a “Save the Date” video for Katherine & Chris. He asked me to shoot some video of the action behind the scenes. You bet I'll will. We actually had set it up two weeks ago to shoot, but called it off due to -39C temperatures.

When I woke up Tuesday morning to the wonderful hoar frost on the trees - I knew we were going to get some great footage.

BTW, sorry for the lame comment "hang on to your hats". Man, who says that anymore? Anyway, check out the "making of a save the date video". For the finished product that Kat + Chris use instead of a traditional card, click here.

Wedding Show Madness

So another Wonderful Wedding Show is here - starting tomorrow. (please note there is one less day to view the couple of hundred exhibitors - so come early). Come by and say hi. I'll be hanging with the W-List photographers; Joel, Manny, Patty and Trevor. Just look for the big white wall near the back of the show. Please pick up a little promo bag and look for your free session card.
