Last weekend Des and I headed up province to a wonderful location for a small and intimate wedding - Hecla Island. The last time I was up there was '88 for a photo convention. I must say I really miss it. It's a nice drive and a better journey's end.

Johanna and Jason have charmed me over the last year with their wonderful Scottish accents and pointed me to better Scotch. He sounds like David Coulthard and looks a little like Mic Dreamy from Grey's.

All the best to you two, thanks for the wonderful time on the island. The view was great, the food better and the company a treat.

Seeing Red = Christian Louboutin

At my last wedding my Bride Johanna had a sweet collection of shoes for her special day. She had getting married shoes, reception shoes, and just looking sweet shoes. You have to love a lady that has 3 pair for one day.

My fave? Just look for red. Loudoutin's, always a treat for any girl.

Aurie called me up and wanted some photos of her little boy Rett. We had to reschedule because he caught a little cold. However a week later we hooked up and once we got him asleep, we got this:

Last week we did a quick family shoot with Janice and Cesar, it was an extremely hot day - but we had a fun time. I believe these were the first bulrushes the kids ever picked.

Lauren and Chad | second shooting with Jeremy 2

Jeremy Hiebert asked me to help cover the wedding of Lauren and Chad, glad to help. Lauren had a beautiful dress and the location of the ceremony was fantastic. Probably the best outdoor location I've ever photographed, an old stone country home.

It really added to the charm of their wedding. Thanks for the fun day. Loved it.
